HOW VAUGHAN INDUSTRIAL HELPS
Vaughan Industrial Supply helped a recycling facility reduce downtime and increase production.
A recycling facility was going through their mild steel screw very quickly. The OEM kept supplying mild steel without offering an option to improve their product or increase wear resistance.
Vaughan Industrial Supply was asked to help. We went to the site during a scheduled shut down to measure the screw and review the application. Based on our assessment, we offered a more abrasive resistant screw with AR400 steel flights.
We then worked with one of our good manufacturers to offer a quicker than standard delivery to get the product on-site before another failure.
The new AR400 screws were installed and have out lasted all other screws in the facility. Less downtime and more productivity.
